20 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 20 weeks

Size of baby: You are the size of a banana (7 inches from head to heel)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 2 lbs!

Maternity Clothes: I am loving my maternity pants – everything else is pretty regular.
Gender: It’s a GIRL! Lucy Pearl Giles

Movement: YES! You are getting more and more active every day. I don’t feel you much during the day but once I settle in on the couch in the evenings, you’re pretty active! I can’t wait until your daddy can feel you.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty good! I will wake up at least once a night to pee – usually around 2 or 3 in the morning.
What I miss: I never was a stomach sleeper, but I would love to just be able to lay on my stomach to rest. It sounds so comfortable!

Cravings: Anything to do with pizza – hot pockets, bagel bites, actual pizza, etc. Oh, and the banana pudding milkshake from Chik-fil-a – YUM!

Symptoms: None

Baby Milestones: You’re practicing swallowing which is great for your digestive system & you’re starting to produce meconium – yuck!
Best Moment this week: Reaching the halfway point in this pregnancy & being certain that I felt you move, pretty girl!

Sleep: I am slowly gaining my energy back from 1st trimester, but I wake up at least twice a night now – sometimes more.

What I miss: Nothing really.

Cravings: Anything to do with pizza – hot pockets, bagel bites, actual pizza, etc. Starting to like sweets again! Yay!

Symptoms: Heartburn/acid reflux

Baby Milestones: This week, a protective covering of myelin is forming around your nerves and since you’re a girl… your uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place!
